Freder1k study in Saxony and Thuringia: early detection of an increased risk of developing type 1 diabetes
In Saxony and Thuringia, all babies up to seven days old can be tested for an increased risk of type 1 diabetes, free of charge, as part of the Freder1k study. The test can be carried out at any maternity hospital.
